Biography
Lydia Mennes has a master’s in artificial intelligence from the University of Amsterdam. She joined CTcue in 2015 when it was a startup consisting of only five people. During this time Lydia focused on information extraction from medical reports. This extracted information is then used by CTcue’s search engine to find patient populations and create datasets.

Biography
Clarisa Sánchez is full Professor in AI and Health in the Informatics Institute and the University Medical Center Amsterdam, both within the University of Amsterdam. Together with Prof. Ivana Išgum, she leads the Quantitative Healthcare Analysis (qurAI) group, an interfaculty group focused on the development, validation and clinical integration of socially responsible AI solutions in healthcare. She is scientific director of two ICAI labs, ThiraLab and AI in Oncology lab.

Biography
Giulia Bernardini graduated in Mathematics at the University of Pisa before obtaining her Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Milano-Bicocca. In January 2021 she joined the Life Sciences and Health group at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) as a postdoc researcher.

The main purpose of her research is to investigate the combinatorial aspects of recent problems arising in computational biology and data sanitization. Specifically, the goal is to develop new algorithmic frameworks to deal with pan-genomic and phylogenetic data, with particular attention to cancer phylogenies. She also studies new combinatorial methods to achieve privacy-utility trade-offs for individual data dissemination.

Biography
Joanna Klopotowska works as a cross-over medical specialist at the Department of Medical Informatics of Amsterdam UMC, where she combines more than 15 years of experience as a hospital pharmacist and medication safety expert with medical informatics research. Her research focuses primarily on improving pharmacotherapy outcomes in hospitalized patients using health informatics tools and methods such as clinical decision support systems and machine learning.
